2023 Window Seat Annual Gathering

Join us for "We Are Here," a fundraiser celebrating the ways Window Seat has lived out our mission in community this past year.

Come slow down with us and connect with friends, replenish in the outdoors, and enjoy the power of community storytelling. Arrive early for a guided story-sharing walk on the Sandy Beach Trail, a 0.6 mile mostly-flat out-and-back trail north along the beach just inside the trees. Enjoy catered appetizers and desserts, and participate in a raffle. There will be Playback Theatre with Brave Practice around Stories of Belonging in Our Homeplace and share outs from folks who participated in our offerings this year. Learn about the community relationships and synergy built this past year and get excited about what is to come in 2024!

Community donations allow us to be nimble in our community programming and continue to offer large sliding pricing for our events and services. Our 2023 crowdfunding goal is $8,500, which would cover our monthly operating expenses for the entire year! Consider leveling up your support by becoming a monthly contributor - buy an event ticket or donate at the event:

• $100+ monthly - Champions (2 people = $2,400)

Can you offer a ride? Do you need a ride?

We recommend carpooling whenever possible, as parking at Tolmie is limited and all vehicles must have a Discover Pass upon arrival ($10/vehicle/day or $30/vehicle/year). Fill out this brief Carpool Interest Form and we’ll help coordinate ride-shares to and from the event. Please also use this form to submit requests for other accommodations, access needs, or dietary restrictions! We want to make sure everyone has a way to and from the event, and an enjoyable and safe time.

Covid safety

This is an in-person event in an indoor space with windows and good airflow. We ask that all community members are vaccinated and mask at their own discretion. We are capping occupancy at 50 registrations.
