February Community Storytelling Circle

An Interview with Dr. Thelma Jackson in conversation with Ava McGee

Image title

Join us for an event honoring Black History Month: "Activating Grace," an interview with Dr. Thelma Jackson in conversation with Ava McGee.

Sunday, February 27 2 - 3:30 pm PST

We will listen to Dr. Jackson share her story in community, and then reflect in small groups around the question: When and how have you activated grace in your own life?

This virtual event series highlights stories of ordinary people living extraordinary lives from within our local community. Each month, we will feature a guest narrator, short audio story, poem, podcast, media, art piece, or another story that centers who we are in this homeplace of the South Sound. Participants will have the opportunity to collectively listen to the piece and share their own stories in facilitated large and small group conversations.

*A note about pricing: We value accessibility and inclusion at Window Seat Media, so have made the choice to offer sliding scale pricing at all our events. The actual cost of producing this event is about $20/person. Ticket sales support event costs such as facilitator honorariums, staff time, and speaker fees. Please contribute the amount you have the means for; we couldn't do this work without you!
