Autumn: Paws & Wine

    Come and join us for a tasting of delicious hand-picked wines hosted by Grand Vin Wine Merchants at their Olympia storefront. Grand Vin has been dedicated to providing expertly sourced wines in Olympia and beyond. We are very excited to partner with such a gracious team for this fundraiser! (All ages welcome, but must be 21 or over for tasting)

    Shake off the fall weather and warm yourself with light snacks, good company, and great wine as you support Covenant Creatures' Veterinary Care Program. Proceeds from the tasting and raffle held this evening will help support pets and their humans in need. Through our Veterinary Care Program, we are able to provide basic veterinary care directly through our volunteer veterinarians and nurses.  When medical needs exceed what we can provide, we can also use this fund to cover tests and treatments at local veterinary hospitals. Raffle tickets will be available at the event for $10 apiece or $25 for 3 tickets.  Raffle items include 4 tickets for the UW vs Utah College Football game on 11-2-19 (valued at $280, Dinner and a Show (Harlequinn Productions, valued at $122), and a handmade Western Red Cedar Native American Flute made by Windshadow Flutes (Valued at $105).

    The tastings will begin at 5pm but you may come in to start your tasting anytime during the event, so drop in any time it is convenient. The team at Grand Vin will guide us through the characteristics and specifics of each of the selected wines as you move through the shop.  All of the wines will be available for purchase that evening as well. We hope you find new friends and new favorite wine!

    We are also proud to introduce our new Mobile Companion Care Center to our supporters and friends. This trailer was purchased with generous donations from individual supporters and with a grant from the Thurston County Humane Society. We are know able to offer food/supply distribution and basic veterinary care closer to downtown Olympia where it is most needed. 

    Covenant Creatures is an Olympia-based, volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) non-profit offering food, supplies, veterinary care, and general support to vulnerable pets and people.
