Services & Impact

Cancers of the connective tissues, collectively called sarcomas, are rare.  While a third of Americans will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, less than 1% of them will have a sarcoma.  That's why there are so few resources (and treatments) for this group of cancers.

The vision of the Northwest Sarcoma Foundation is that no one faces sarcoma alone.  We provide financial assistance grants to adults and pediatric sarcoma patients in the Pacific Northwest.  We promote better treatments through investments in ground-breaking research taking place in Seattle and Portland.  And, we provide opportunities to get the social and emotional support needed to slay the sarcoma dragon

We need your help now more than ever!  There are over 3,000 families affected by sarcoma in the Pacific Northwest each year but we aren't able to reach all of them.  We need your help to ensure that NO ONE FACES SARCOMA ALONE!
