EYH is fun for all girls, even if they think they don't like math or science in school. This isn't school. Middle school girls will have the opportunity to interact one-on-one with real women who work as veterinarians, biologists, astronomers, geologists, chefs, civil engineers, paramedics, coroners, therapists, audiologists, highway engineers, astrophysicists, land surveyors, architects, and more!
How amazing it is for girls to see smart, engaging, successful women leading the way in exciting career fields!
EYH Committee never turns away any girl who wants to attend our conference. Scholarships are granted to all, with no barriers. We do so by fundraising in our community and volunteering all of our time.
To honor 30 years of this work in Thurston County, we ask you to help with a small donation.
$15 pays for one girl to attend a conference.
$30 ensures that her friend can come too!
$50 pays for materials for a workshop that will teach up to 40 girls.
$100 provides a transportation grant to rural and far-away schools. (We routintely welcome girls from Thurston and 4 neighboring counties!!!)
