Easter arrives with a powerful reminder – no life is beyond redemption; what is broken can be restored. No where is this more evident than in the lives of the men and women who make a commitment to write a new life story and enter the Mission’s Life Transformation Program.

Annie came to the Olympia Union Gospel Mission with nothing but the clothes she was wearing, seeking a way out of the addiction that had cost her everything. What many did not see was the deep pain beneath the surface. Annie had experienced abuse that left lasting wounds, and instead of finding safety and healing, she turned to substances to numb the trauma.

Over time, that coping mechanism became a powerful addiction that took her job, her home, and the trust of those who once loved her. She had burned bridges with family and friends, and the weight of shame felt even heavier than the addiction itself.

After many attempts at short term treatment facilities, she walked through our doors with nowhere else to turn. Annie made the courageous choice to join our Life Transformation Program, where she not only was able to stay clean from drugs and alcohol but also learned healthy ways to cope with her past abuse.

Your prayers and financial support make Life Transformation at the Mission possible.
