The "Coach Pat" McGregor Memorial Fund

Honoring the life and legacy of Coach Pat by continuing her swim lessons.

Starting her swimming career in Winnipeg, Manitoba CA ~ Pat was a 1952 Olympian Swimmer for Canada. After moving to Miami FL in 1976, Pat began giving swimming lessons in her backyard pool on a full-time basis and at the University of Miami, until partnering with Roberto Strauss at the Swim-Gym, and working for one of the first official “indoor” Swim-Schools in South Florida. In 1987 Pat moved to Boca Raton, FL and together with Andy Broido, opened Quality Swimming Swim-School, where she taught and co-operated the business for 18 years.

After moving to Atlanta, GA in 2005 to be closer to family, Pat still enjoyed working with the babies in the pool at Sarah’s School of Fish until she retired at 80 years young!

We are honoring her life and legacy by gifting swim lessons to underserved children through The Hope Floats Foundation
