Early in May, Thundering Paws received a call from a Dripping Springs woman who does wildlife rescue. Someone had called her about finding two kittens, one with a horribly infected eye. They'd posted a picture of Polly on Facebook, which made it clear that Polly needed medical help IMMEDIATELY!
We called Lake Austin Boulevard Animal Hospital (LABAH), and our new friend arranged transport for the kitties and found a foster home. At LABAH, Dr. Spitz removed the infected eye, and Dr. Lee took them home over night to watch over their recovery. Both are doing well.
Polly and Paolo's foster mom reports that the little sleeping angels pictured above regularly tear through the house, climbing up curtains and the backs of chairs, and are playful terrors with the family dog.
