Kids University is dedicated to enhancing the lives of children in under-resourced communities by addressing educational, personal, social, and environmental challenges. Our comprehensive programs are designed to empower youth, foster community engagement, and promote holistic development.

After-School Tutoring Program
Our after-school tutoring program focuses on core subjects—math, language arts, and reading—for students in grades K-8. Utilizing the TEKS-based PATHWAYS curriculum, we align our instruction with public school standards, ensuring consistency and relevance. Our hands-on teaching approach caters to diverse learning styles, providing personalized support to each student.

Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Integration
Recognizing the importance of social-emotional development, we incorporate SEL strategies through our Character Cures curriculum and the Sanford Harmony program. Character Cures offers interactive instruction that promotes collaboration and active learning of character-building skills. Sanford Harmony provides conversation starters and team-building activities, fostering empathy, communication, and relationship-building among students.

Summer Programming and Community Engagement
To address the need for safe and enriching summer activities, we offer summer programs that continue academic support and provide recreational opportunities. Our monthly community dinners and Neighborhood Crime Watch programs strengthen community bonds and enhance neighborhood safety.

Family Services Program
Understanding the critical role of family in a child's development, our Family Services Program extends educational opportunities to adults in the community. We offer ESL and GED classes, adult computer literacy programs, financial literacy workshops, and parenting classes, empowering families to support their children's educational journeys.
