DreamBuilders Monthly: Elevating Futures, Empowering Dreams
In the heart of Dallas County, a transformative movement is underway, spearheaded by Kids-U’s DreamBuilders Monthly campaign. Our mission—to improve the lives of children living in under-resourced communities—is more than a statement; it’s a commitment to action, a pledge to uplift every child and enable them to realize their full potential. This year, we set an ambitious goal: to serve 500 students and their families by the end of 2024. To achieve this, we need your help.
The Impact of Your Support
Every child holds a dream. For some, it’s the dream of becoming a scientist, for others, a teacher, an artist, or an engineer. However, the path to these dreams is often obstructed by challenges beyond their control—lack of access to quality education, nutritional meals, and safe environments to learn and grow. In 2022, we reached 205 low-income children during our after-school program and 175 in our summer program, providing over 95,202 tutoring hours and 49,200 summer camp hours. But there are still many more dreams waiting to be nurtured.

• Nutritional Meals: Last year alone, we served 48,134 nutritious meals, ensuring that no child learns on an empty stomach.
• Family and Community Engagement: Strengthening the fabric of our communities with ESL, GED classes, financial literacy programs, and more, impacting over 205 families directly.
