It’s almost the most wonderful time of the year for us: Art Camp Season! This summer, we are adding two weeks to our calendar to accommodate the growing demand for our classes. Just like last summer, our attendees will have the opportunity to study ceramics, glazing, screen printing, animation, drawing, painting, and film photography. We welcome all children to our classes, while maintaining a particular focus on children whose economic situation might prevent them from studying art.
Last year, we were able to provide over 70 scholarships to our students, which allowed us to make great strides toward eliminating barriers and creating equity in the arts. We are grateful for your scholarship support. This year, our goal is to provide 100 scholarships. In order to accomplish this, we need to raise $10,000.
Thanks to the generosity of Good Space and Corgan, we are already 1/5th of the way toward reaching our goal! Your donation will allow us to provide high-quality arts programming to more students than ever before.
As always, we are thankful and humbled for your continued generosity. When you donate to Color Me Empowered, you’re not only providing arts programming for children without equitable access, you’re also giving the gift of creativity. Children who are a part of our programming have a safe space to express themselves and find their creative voice. The impact of having a strong creative identity is immeasurable – it can change the trajectory of a child’s life.
