Natural fertilizer is made by horses. Each horse produces about 50 lbs a day of natural fertilizer aka manure. The horses at Aiken Equine Rescue won't continue to produce fertilizer if we can't feed them.
It takes over $150,000 annually to just provide hay & feed for our horses.
We've come up with our own mix needed to keep our horses producing fertilizer: 5-10-15
Pledge $5, $10 or $15 once or better yet each month. You'll never miss $5 a month from your checkbook! Our horses do great things for Veterans as participants in the Saratoga WarHorse Program in Aiken SC for Vets from all over the country and for the horses' future owners and companions. Let's keep them fed and keep that fertilizer coming!

OR find a local horse or cow farm and ask them if you can muck a few stalls or help clean up around the barn for a donation to our cause. Cleaning up a bucket of poop will give you the satisfaction of knowing you helped a great cause AND gave you an opportunity to experience some Farm Aerobics!
THEN ask a friend to do the same. They either DONATE or Pick up some manure for a donation!
