Services & Impact

Due to COVID-19, we've shifted 100% of our programming to virtual platforms and strive to continue to bring much-needed resources to our Queer BIPOC communities, who have been among the hardest hit in this pandemic.

Founded in 2016, the Newburgh LGBTQ+ Center focuses on centering the experiences of the most vulnerable members of the LGBTQIA community, the Newburgh Center seeks to organize the community in the Mid-Hudson Valley to build power, advocate for the needs of our youth, elders, trans folk, anyone identifying on the LGBTQIA & GNC spectrum, and provide services via events, workshops, trainings, and opportunities!

We see that the voices, experiences and needs of Queer People of Color need a safe space to build, heal and claim our resilience.

Our organization is open to anyone wanting to work on these issues, allies are welcome and necessary to help create real, sustainable and tangible change. If we are not working across issues, we will never see change and never be able to create the communities that we strive to live in.
