We're going 5 for 5! In just a couple of months, we will be running the fifth annual Quinn 5k (previously known as the Feel the Breeze 5k). For those of you who do not know, Quinn was a little girl from Lynbrook, Long Island who was made an honorary AOPi sister before losing her life to a rare disease called Niemann-Pick Disease, Type A, before her 2nd birthday in 2013. Her parents founded the Quinn Madeleine Foundation in 2014 to fund research and to create opportunities for families with terminally ill infants.
