Become a local hero, and Polar Bear by doing what will become a lifetime memory that you can tell your kids about... actually take a selfie doing it, because they'll never believe how much fun you can have jumping in Lake Ontario in March, all while helping people in need.

The annual Olcott, NY Polar Bear 'Swim/Plunge for Sight' is a fundraiser and community 'fun' day that is WNY's oldest charity swim. At 51 years young in 2020, it is where thousands gather in Olcott, NY to watch 100’s of happy, zany souls who swim in the frigid water and enjoy tailgating with family and friends. The event is full of vendors, music, costume competitions, Niagara County Fire Company 'Tug of War' championships, and enjoy the restaurants and bars of this beautiful, friendly community that is located on the southern shores of Lake Ontario - all to help continue to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to help those less fortunate.

Check out our websites olcottlions.org or swimforsight.com to learn more and see where the money raised by participants and supporters goes. If you want to register to participate, simply click on "Get Tickets." It's a minimum $25.00 to register in advance online and $30.00 the day of the event.
