Gardens Of Hope: Produce Nutritious Food and Income to Sustain One Farmer with One Ace for One Season.

  • It costs $200 to start one Garden Of Hope project. This covers the cost of purchasing seedlings, tools, and supplies needed to prepare and plant the garden, dig the beds, and care for the crops.
  • It costs an additional $150 to lease the land for one year and the initial training for the first growing season through practical workshops, and visits by GLO’s Agricultural Trainers.
  • Lastly, there’s $150 for ongoing training for the entire year, training the farmer on community banking and income generation as they work towards self-sustainability.

After one season, a successful project is sustainable and doesn’t require any further funding. In total, the project costs $500 for each farmer.

All funds raised will be directly invested in the Gardens of Hope: A sustainable Smart Farming solution to fight hunger and poverty while making a positive impact on underserved communities in rural Uganda.

We invite you to be part of this transformative journey to: Reduce Hunger, Increase Household Incomes, and Create Sustainable Futures
