Alzheimer's Services of the Capital Area

Alzheimer's Services is a local, non-profit organization serving the Greatwe Baton Rouge area by providing education and support programs to those affected by Alzheimer's disease or dementia. Our organization serves the following parishes: Ascension, Assumption, East and West Baton Rouge, East and West Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee and St. Helena.

The mission of Alzheimer's Services is to teach, care for and connect with those in our community affected by Alzheimer's disease and other memory-related impariments. 

Alzheimer's Services is not affiliated with a national organization; therefore, all funds donated remain in our 10-parish service area. 

Services include, but are not limited to the following: Charlie's Place I & II activity and respite centers, support groups, Lunch-N-Learn sessions on Alzheimer's disease and dementia-related topics, TLC for Caregivers, Medicalert + Safe Return, Making Sense of Cents - a financial literacy program, as well as a resource library and a Helpline.
