Walter Spring Break

The whole family is going!

Every year, our ministry encourages college students to spend their spring break serving people in different parts of the world. In the past 14 years, we’ve taken groups to Mexico, Kentucky, New Orleans and Arizona.  Every year, without exception, students are reminded that real joy is experienced when we share what we have with others!

This year marks our 15th year with CSF, and thus our 15th spring break trip. We’re taking students to the Lakota Reservation in South Dakota, which ABC News calls the second poorest region in the western hemisphere, after Haiti. We’re excited to share the hope of Jesus with the people there, and to do whatever we can to assist For God’s Children International in their work there.

No doubt, this will be a special trip, and our group will be stretched spiritually! Here’s why our family is excited about this year’s trip. For the first time, our entire family will be participating! As parents, we’re excited to share the experience of a short-term missions trip with our kids, and pray that the experience will spark their love for missions, just as our college-day trips fostered that affinity in us.

To make this happen, we need to raise $850 for our family to be part of the team. Would you consider partnering with us financially? You can use the enclosed envelope to mail in a contribution. You can also contribute online by visiting the “donate” page at www.csfneb.org. Simply designate “Walter Spring Break”, and your contribution will help our family have this experience together.

If we could ask one more thing, we’d ask that you be praying for us. Pray for safety of travel, great projects for the kids to be involved in, and spiritual growth in all four of us. We look forward to seeing how God is going to use this opportunity!

In Christ,

Dan, Angela, Lindsay & Gabe
