With the growth of our CSF Partners Program, especially our Camp Team Program in the last year the need arose for us to hire someone who can help direct our Camp Team, and lead outreach projects at Wayne State and Northeast Community College.
We began praying about this, and as He always does, God provided the PERFECT solution. Katie Hughes is an alum of our Wayne State ministry and also served on the Camp Team last year. During that time, Katie devevloped a huge heart for Campus Ministry and connecting college students with Jesus and with each other.
We approached Katie about working with us in this capacity and she jumped at the opportunity!
Katie has been doing a lot for us all ready in anticipation of her employment. Katie has already revamped our Camp Team training program, helped with Camp Team interviews, and visited with some of our 2017 Camp Team. Our targeted official start date for Katie is March 1st. In order to do that, like all of our interns, Katie needs to be fully funded. Katie has been fundraising since December and has over half of her salary raised all ready, and we are hoping in the next few weeks to push her over the top, so we can get her running at full speed with what God needs her to do for our Camp team and other ministries to be most effective.
Considering Katie was a 4 year Volleyball standout during her days at Wayne State College we thought we'd have a little fun with some giving options. Please give as the Lord leads you, but are praying for some specific people to come on as "Player's of the Year" at $100 a month; or "All-American's" at $50 monthly, or "All-Conference at $25 monthly.
