GISC's Helping the Helpers Nonprofit Scholarship Fund is our keystone fundraising project for 2015. We believe that enabling nonprofit leaders and professionals to achieve new levels of effectiveness within their organizations through access to our programs will have a ripple effect far beyond GISC and the shores of Cape Cod.

Recent Scholarship Recipients
Here on Cape Cod, small-boatfishermen and women rely on the leadership team at Cape Cod Commercial Fishing Alliance to navigate the challenges of politics and finance to help keep thefishing resource and industry alive. And GISC provided scholarships to four leaders in this organization to increase the impact each individual and the team achieves.Calmer Choice, another regional nonprofit, delivers a mindfulness training program to youth across Cape Cod teaching stress reduction techniques for healthier, safer children and teens. Founder, Fiona Jensen has found value in her learning at GISC, bringing new awareness and skills to her role making a difference for many in the region.
