Building Demand for Healthy and Sustainable Foods

What is Food Literacy? Food Literacy is a deep understanding of the impact our food choices have on ourselves, our local community and the environment.  In addition to cooking skills, a clear understanding of food literacy is critical to creating lasting change.  There has been a dramatic increase in demand for Cookbook Project training programs as communities strive to reverse the death and suffering that result from chronic disease.

We are specifically focusing on building the Boston Food Literacy Initiative in the Boston Public Schools and the New Orleans Food Literacy Initiative across the city of New Orleans while continuing to expand national and global programming.   Here is your opportunity to be a part of the solution.  Sponsor a Food Literacy Educator (or make a gift in any amount that is meaningful for you and share on social media to multiply your impact).

Thank you for supporting our efforts to spread food literacy at the grassroots level!
