Ride New Orleans brings better bus, streetcar, and ferry service to New Orleans. We amplify your voice and thousands of others to show the widespread support and growing need for better transit in New Orleans.
But we can't do it alone. You have a big role to play in this too! Will you become a 2017/2018 member today? Regular memberships are $50 and low-income/student memberships are $10.
While much of our support comes from foundations, we rely on growing support from individuals like you to fund our efforts.
Your membership will fund a variety of important projects that make the case for better transit policies, win specific transit victories, and build up transit rider power.
For instance, you will fund future policy research like this year's State of Transit report that showed the new Rampart/St. Claude streetcar didn't provide ANY boost to job access for transit riders.
You will also fund future mobilization campaigns like our rally this spring for a better design to the new ferry terminal.
And you will fund future transit rider organizing and activist training meetings, like this June 2017 meeting of our rider-led Coalition for Quality Transit.
