A fun, family event in recognition of Recovery Month!

Odyssey House is on a roll!

Saturday, September 10,2016, we’re hosting our first ever Bike & Brunch. It’s a progressive party for families and friends to ride the Lafitte Greenway, from the French Quarter to Mid-City. Along the way we’ll have health demonstrations, dance performances, and of course, the best of brunch: delicious baked goods, savory sweets, and culinary treats.

All the while, we’ll be supporting our community in the fight to conquer addiction. September is Recovery Month across the country. By supporting Bike & Brunch, you’ll be helping all of those whose lives are affected by substance abuse.

Join us for a beautiful bike ride, and a powerful gesture of solidarity for all of those who suffer from addiction. 100% of proceeds will go toward expanding the facilities and offerings of Odyssey House Louisiana, our state’s largest substance abuse treatment program.

Today we treat over 700 men, women, and adolescents every month. With your help, we can help so many more. We look forward to seeing you on the Greenway!

Route:

Begin at Armstrong Park (835 N. Rampart Street) and end at MidCity Market plaza on Carrollton Ave (next to Felipes). The entire ride is a family-friendly 2.6 miles leisure ride. There are stops along the way; the longest stretch is 1.1 miles. Gotta burn off all the brunch items! We will also have volunteers stationed at busy intersections to ensure safety while crossing.

Wristbands for the event (which include the guided bike ride and BRUNCH items!) are only $12 if you purchase now! They will be $15 the day of the ride.
