What difference does the Marigny Opera House make?
You might want to ask one of the 90 musicians or singers who've performed there over the past year. Or the kids in Make Music Nola, who use the space for their recitals. You may want to ask the eight dancers of the Marigny Opera Ballet, or the singers of Opera Créole, or the actors with Cripple Creek Theatre. Chances are, you'll hear a common theme: an abandoned church has been brought back to life, and it is serving the people of this city as a center for the arts.
