Dear Friends and Supporters,
As you all are aware, the recent flood in the Baton Rouge area has impacted thousands of people, many who have lost everything. Feed the Relief, now the Kelly Gibson Foundation, was formed in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina with the mission to support those who were impacted by that disaster. Now, our goal is to do the same for those affected by the recent historic flooding in South Louisiana.
I spent some time over the past 10 days in the Baton Rouge area, and the destruction is worse than I had ever imagined. After personally witnessing the devastation and loss that people have suffered, our Foundation must answer the call for help again. Residents, first responders and many of our foundation supporters who are on the front lines serving food and gutting homes must also rebuild their own lives and are in need of our assistance.
We have set a goal to raise more than $50,000 that will go directly towards the relief efforts in the Greater South Louisiana area. I am asking that our friends and supporters come together to help us reach our goal so that we can support those who have been so adversely affected by this flood. Help us find 1,000 people who can donate $50 each towards this campaign and we will reach our goal together!
DONATE NOW and 100% of your donation will go towards the relief effort.
Thank you for supporting the Foundation and its continuing mission.
Sincerely,
Kelly Gibson
Chairman
