Jamie, her brother, and his young son have been served a 3-day eviction notice from their landlord. Jamie is currently providing "bridge housing" to her chronically homeless and disabled sister, Beth, and her two kids who will be placed in one of Mercy House's permanent supportive housing programs in the next few weeks.
Without assistance and with no other options for support, these two family households could find themselves on the streets or in our County's already over-crowded shelters.
Once Beth and her children are safely placed in our permanent supportive housing program, Jamie will secure a rooommate and be able to once again financially support the apartment.
