Warrior Foundation Freedom Station is proud to announce the grand opening of Freedom Station III, the latest addition to its network of transitional housing and support centers for ill and injured military men and women service members. This milestone event will take place on Friday, January 24, 2025, and represents a significant expansion of the foundation’s mission to empower Warriors as they transition from military service to civilian life.
Freedom Station III is a state-of-the-art facility that provides transitional housing, essential resources, and a supportive community for America’s Warriors. Designed to address the unique needs of transitioning service members, the facility offers a blend of private living spaces, communal areas, and access to services such as hands-on guidance on career paths, education, trades, finances, wellness, and mentorship.
“We are thrilled to celebrate the opening of Freedom Station III,” said Sandy Lehmkuhler, Founder of Warrior Foundation Freedom Station. “This new facility embodies our unwavering commitment to helping our nation’s Warriors find strength, purpose, and independence as they transition into civilian life. It’s more than a place to live—it’s a place to heal, grow, and thrive.”
The grand opening event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, tours of the facility, and remarks from local dignitaries, military leaders, and Warrior Foundation Freedom Station representatives. Attendees will have the opportunity to see the new facility, tour the 12 cottages, and learn more about the impactful work being done to support ill and injured service members.
Freedom Station III builds upon the success of Freedom Stations I and II, which have served as lifelines for hundreds of Warriors since the foundation’s inception. The new facility will allow the foundation to serve even more individuals, ensuring that no Warrior is left behind in their journey to rebuild their lives after military service.
