Help Send a Warrior “Home for the Holidays!”
In a proud annual tradition that embodies the spirit of the season and our nation’s deep-rooted patriotism, Warrior Foundation Freedom Station and our media partners are raising funds to fly ill and injured Warriors “Home for the Holidays!”
America’s military men and women represent the best of our nation. For those injured while serving our country and facing the challenges of recovery, rehabilitation and the transition to civilian life, there is no greater gift than being able to return home to their families during this special time of year.
Funds raised through the Give-A-Thon will help our ill and injured service members leave the hospital and return home for Christmas. While it may seem like a simple gesture, bringing a Warrior home to their family can have a priceless impact on morale and recovery, as well as on the military families who love and support them.
At its heart, sending our Warriors “Home for the Holidays” is a gesture of gratitude to the men and women who have served, sacrificed and are now learning to overcome both visible and invisible injuries.
Changing Lives and Saving Lives, One Warrior at a Time…
In addition to providing flights for our Warriors, Warrior Foundation Freedom Station supports ill and injured Warriors year-round through a variety of programs, including transitional housing, adaptive sports, outdoor therapy, Dress for Success, career guidance and wellness programs.
Our transitional housing residences, Freedom Station I, II and III, provide injured Warriors with the time, guidance and resources they need to successfully transition from military service to civilian life.
