Warrior Foundation Freedom Station is proud to partner with Macy’s for two impactful “Dress for Success” events at Macy’s Fashion Valley!
On April 24, we’re thrilled to welcome 34 women and 16 men from Navy Warrior Command as they select approximately $700 worth of professional business attire — including suits, shirts, ties, pant-suits, skirts, dresses, and accessories — to support their transition into civilian careers.
Nearly a month later, we’re honored to return for a second event, this time serving active-duty men and women from the Marines Wounded Warrior Program, offering them the same opportunity to look and feel their best as they prepare for the next chapter.
Together with Macy’s, we’re helping our warriors get “Tailored for Triumph.”
The “Dress for Success” program was created in 2006 by Sandra Lehmkuhler, Founder of Warrior Foundation Freedom Station, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting transitioning service members through housing, mentorship programs, and quality-of-life initiatives.
Over the past 19 years, Warrior Foundation Freedom Station has provided more than 1,100 active-duty and retired Warriors with more than $750,000 in business attire to help them pursue new careers, launch entrepreneurial endeavors, or start educational programs in civilian life. Each Warrior will have the opportunity to select approximately $700 worth of business attire, including suits, shirts, ties, pant-suits, skirts, dresses, and accessories.
"At Warrior Foundation Freedom Station, we believe every Warrior deserves a strong start in their next chapter. By providing a ‘fresh new uniform’ for civilian life, we’re not just offering attire—we’re instilling confidence, dignity, and the support they need to succeed." – Andrew Gasper, CEO, Warrior Foundation Freedom Station.
In addition to their new professional wardrobe, each Warrior will receive a complimentary professional headshot to use for LinkedIn and other career-building platforms.
