Annual Fundraising Dinner

October 15 in Washington, DC

The Yemen Peace Project invites you to join us in Washington, DC on October 15th for our first annual fundraising dinner. This very special evening will feature delicious Yemeni food, live Yemeni music, an exhibition of Yemeni art, and a unique silent auction. We’ll also honor public figures who share our goals of increasing understanding between Americans and Yemenis and advancing more peaceful and constructive US policies toward Yemen. This year’s honorees include Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut, and Ambassador Stephen Seche.

The Yemen Peace Project is the only organization of its kind, using advocacy, cultural exchange, education, and journalism to transform the relationship between the US and Yemen. By attending our dinner, you’re helping us pursue that mission and providing emergency assistance to Yemenis in need. When you buy a ticket, you are:

  • Providing a week’s worth of food for a family displaced by violence,
  • Publishing an article by a Yemeni journalist,
  • Bringing the work of a Yemeni artist to a global stage, and
  • Sending our volunteer lobbyists to Capitol Hill.

5:30pm: Reception, live music, silent auction,
6:30-9:00pm: Drinks, dinner, presentations.
