The Audacity Performing Arts Project, Inc.

Audacity  produces after school theatre productions (primarily musicals).  We do this by providing everything a production requires; the program is designed to not burden the school administration, staff or community.  Audacity provides the scripts, directing staff, the sets, professional lighting, professional sound, costumes, props and anything else a production requires.  Productions rehearse 8-12 weeks and end with 1-5 live performances depending on the desires of the school administrators.

Audacity’s micro budget model allows us to provide these programs at 50-70% less than other Silicon Valley youth theatre companies such as Starting Arts.  Audacity typically charges $5500 per production (50% of Audacity shows are discounted from $5500 rate). Starting Arts’ website states that they require $14,000 per production.

On the school sites Audacity serves, Audacity is the ONLY theatre opportunity available for the students.
