In years past we have participated in an Adopt-A-Family program. That program was discontinued when the organizer changed jobs. It was such a fulfilling program and many of us enjoyed helping to make local families' holidays a bit brighter. So this year we are attempting to do some direct giving.
We hope to raise between $1000-$2000 and purchase some $100 Visa Gift cards to distribute to families. We also want to collect new, unwrapped gifts, wrapping paper & supplies, and fresh homemade baked goods to distribute as well. We will collect money and items through December 15th and then distribute them on Sunday, December 19th.
Please help us help those in need going into this Winter Season. The last few years have been tough and there are more families in Tucson that are struggling than ever before. Please donate whatever you can, every little bit helps.
