For nearly 20 years individuals from the community have come together to honor and bring awareness to life in the womb. To some, this project is a memorial to hang wreathes, pray, and grieve. For others its a reminder of how precious life is. In Psalm 139 God tell us he is the author of life and knows us from the very beginning, even before our mother new we exsisted. In Jeremiah 29 God tells us He has a plan for each life, a plan not to harm us but to give us a hope and a future. And in Romans 8 God tells us He will use even the bad things of this world to do good. Help us bring awarness to Limestone County and beyond. Help us share God's good news of grace, forgivness, and eternal life through the message of these crosses.
All money gathered during this event goes to the Women's Resource Center in Athens (www.wrcathens.org). This center is a non-profit group of volunteers who stand on the front lines, ministering to women, inspiring, encouraging and empowering them during their time of a crisis decision; providing them support through free services, ultrasounds, baby items, Christ centerd life coaching and more. This opens the doors to their future and allows them more options to choose from; the options to choose parenting or adoption for their precious baby.
