About this event:

Tandem is celebrating our tenth anniversary - we hope you will join us! This year's gala will be a celebration of everything Tandem represents in its tenth year: joyous access to books and stories, strengths-based training for parents and educators, high-quality diverse books, and a deep commitment to community.

On March 7th, be the one to spark joy and close the opportunity gap for Bay Area children.

Funds raised at this event (which includes a silent and live auction) will be used to support Tandem's school-to-home book-sharing program, StoryCycles, as well as our Early Learning Everywhere community-based programming. These programs provide communities, educators, and families with the books and resources they need to support every child to develop a lifelong love of books and learning that leads to future academic and life success.

support our youngest learners to arrive at kindergarten ready.

This event will feature 21 special guests. One award-winning children's author or illustrator will be seated at each table, so you can learn more about how children's books and quality early learning experiences have the power to change lives.
