Change the lives of our neighbors in need with new roofs

“When it rains outside it rains inside our home, and we have buckets everywhere to collect the rain,” Carmen said. “I just want a secure home for my kids and I can’t financially provide that for them. ”

Carmen, a single mother of two, saw the rain destroy her home as it leaked through her deteriorating roof during El Niño this winter. It meant sleepless nights worrying about how she would protect her children from the mold spreading in her home. The rainy days have meant being especially concerned about the condition of her home and how to pay for the needed repairs on a fixed income supporting her family of three.
